Conversation: Today in class we worked with the Subjunctive in Adverbial clauses.  Remember that to be successful with adverbial clauses you need to know some Spanish conjunctions.  Reading quiz tomorrow, grammar and listening quiz on Friday.

AP: Today in class we started working with the new vocabulary from Theme 3 and reviewed the important dates.

Conversation: Today in class you worked to finish the scripts for your presentations.  I was out sick today so you will turn the scripts in to me first thing tomorrow.

Conversation: Today in class we did some practice activities for your vocabulary quiz on Thursday. The quiz format will be 10 words from unit 1, 20 English to Spanish translations, 10 preterit/imperfect verb translations from this quizlet set, and 10 verb replacements.  Here are some practice exercises (1, 2, 3) for replacing verbs. I have also attempted to assign the work to your VHL account but many of you have not registered for the class as nothing online will actually count.  If you are having trouble finding the activities, join the class and you should see them.

AP: Today in class we worked with por/para expressions.  Next you filled out the verb chart from your packets.

Conversation: Today in class we worked with the imperfect and the preterit and then used word reference to investigate some of the new verbs we have been learning in class.

AP: Today in class you took your grammar test and then we worked with prepositions and verbs to use in place of estar.
